Rock 'n Roll Carnival

As you may recall (or maybe not), we created last years poster for the Northside Rock 'n Roll Carnival. Apparently they liked the poster enough to ask us to design another one for this years fest. Fellow designers Rick Neltner and Aaron May helped us out and the outcome was a poster that features a lot of hair. If your curiosity carries you to Northside this Fourth of July, be sure to grab yourself a poster.

Poster for the June 4 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club show in Columbus. 2 color screenprint, edition of 75. If you live near Columbus and have nothing to do Monday night, you should definitely be headed to Newport Music Hall to catch the show. You're shant be disappointed.

Guster New York & Boston Posters

So Guster liked our poster for their Bogarts show so much they asked us to do the poster for their New York and Boston shows this past April. I finally got around to adding the posters to our gallery. They're a bit smaller than the Bogarts show, coming in at 13.5x18 inches. Both were editions of 140. They pretty much sold out of the posters at the show and we only have about 40 or so left ourselves.

Why hello there. As March comes to an end, things have been quite busy here at Small Print. Keith said Flatstock was a success and has some pics of the festivities up on his site for your viewing pleasure. We also have created a few tshirt designs for the Dave Matthews Band. Right now I believe you can pick up the fairy tee on their current tour. As for the other two, we'll see if those make it for their summer tour or not.

We also have another gallery show coming up in May. We're still working out details and exact dates, but we should have all that up shortly along with pics of new posters and the such. So stay tuned...I'm sure you're sitting at the edge of you seat in suspense.

Keith will be headed off to Austin this week for the twelth installment of Flatstock. He'll be selling all his Neltner Creative work along with some Small Print stuff. So if you headed down for the festivities be sure to stop by and say hello. I'm sure we'll have some pics shortly to rub in the faces of the less fortunate souls, like myself, stuck behind and left to rot away at work. Yay!

Happy New Year everyone! We are kicking the year off with a new gallery show entitled Ink Bleeds: Prints On Modern Rock, at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. This show which runs from January 12 through February 2 will feature prints from Human Tree, Galaxy Reno, The Small Print Studios, Neltner Creative, Warnick Art, Powerhouse Factories, Methane Studios, Standard Deluxe, Jay Ryan, Cricket Press, FNHarsh and more. The opening will be at the Art Academy on Friday, January 26 from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. with music by the Kentucky Struts. Also don't miss a lecture by Paul Grushkin, co-author of The Art of Modern Rock, on Thursday, January 25 from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Hope to see you there!
